Now more than ever, businesses need to accelerate their digital transformation. As more employees are working remotely, in-person transactions — like signing documents — are difficult and slow down business processes. A new London Research report, produced in partnership with Adobe, looks at how organisations are employing e-signature technology and the resulting business benefits.
This research surveyed more than 1,500 businesses. Some of the key findings are:
- Just over half (54%) of businesses surveyed now use some form of electronic signatures, and a further third plan to adopt the technology.
- E-signatures are most used by sales departments. Almost half (49%) of companies said they were using the technology in sales, and a further 41% are considering its implementation.
- The main reported benefits of using electronic signatures are improved productivity and a better experience for customers, employees, and partners.
