Legacy operational support systems (OSS) and service assurance systems are increasingly misaligned with the demands of next-generation networks. While there has been significant investments in network transformation, service assurance remains historically underinvested in, often with teams not being able to access dedicated budgets beyond basic technical upgrades. Hence, network capabilities have evolved faster than the systems meant to support them, with many operators still dependent on the outdated assurance capabilities designed for static, siloed architectures.
